Pet Policy
SEMO Rents offers many pet-friendly houses and apartments. Pet approval is determined on a property-by-property basis and is subject to Landlord approval.
All applicants wishing to have a pet must complete a pet profile through PetScreening and receive approval before bringing any pet onto the property.
For approved pets, a non-refundable $50 Pet Administration Fee is due upon execution of the Pet Addendum.
Residents participating in the required SEMO Rents Resident Benefits Program are charged a standardized monthly pet rent of $30 per approved pet. PetScreening recommendations are used as part of the approval process but do not determine the monthly pet rent charged by SEMO Rents.
Only pets specifically approved and identified in the Pet Addendum are permitted on the property. If you wish to add a pet after moving in, you must first complete or update your PetScreening profile and obtain written approval from SEMO Rents before bringing the pet onto the property.
Properties designated as No Pets do not permit pets on the property, whether temporarily or permanently.
